ANNOUNCEMENT: The Suncoast Symphony Orchestra will begin the 2017-2018 Season on Wednesday evening, September 6th, 2017.

Please note this is the 1st Wednesday of the month, just after Labor Day weekend.

Downbeat will be at 7:30pm with Dr. Ted DeCorso at the podium. We currently have openings in all of the string sections and in the percussion section, so if you know of a string/percussion musician who would like more information about joining our orchestra please have them contact Jim Mateka.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The Suncoast Symphony Orchestra 2017-2018 Concert Season concert dates and venues are now available on our Concerts page.

The orchestra presents a series of three programs during the season with each series performed at a number of locations in the area. For additional information on our upcoming concerts and program go to our Concerts page.

Flute Section The orchestra is a member of the Pinellas Arts Foundation. All members of the orchestra donate their time. For anyone interested in joining the orchestra, we currently have openings for all string players, including the violin, viola, cello and string bass sections. We also need additional percussion players. Contact us to discuss this further. Other musicians may also contact us to discuss openings in our orchestra.

Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:15pm-9:30pm at Grace Lutheran Church, 1812 North Highland Avenue, Clearwater 33755-2136.  Map

Remember to bring a stand and be prepared to play some challenging music!
